(The Spread) – There are 13 different games involving top-25 college basketball teams Saturday and if that is not enough, four of those games match ranked opponents against each other.

Sixth-ranked San Diego State (27-1) gets a chance Saturday afternoon at 2:00PM EST to get revenge on its home floor against the only team to put a blemish on its record this season in No. 7 Brigham Young (26-2). The highly anticipated contest will air live on CBS.
Oddsmakers and online sports book Sportsbook.com have made San Diego State 3.5-point spread favorites for the game. According to the latest trends, BYU is 50-77 ATS as an underdog since 1997. The Cougars are 4-2 against the spread versus San Diego State over the last three seasons.
San Diego State was 20-0 prior to its Jan. 26 tilt at Brigham Young in which Cougars star guard Jimmer Fredette poured in 43 points to lead the hosts to a 71-58 victory. Since then, the Aztecs have reeled off another seven consecutive wins including last Saturday’s 70-58 win at Air Force.
The Cougars’ only two losses this season have come at UCLA and at New Mexico. They are on a six-game winning streak, the last of which being an 84-76 home victory against Colorado State on Wednesday.
Fredette currently leads the nation with a 27.6 points per game average, which is more than double the average of anyone else on BYU. He scored 34 in the win Wednesday. San Diego State’s Kawhi Leonard averages a double-double of 15.2 points per game and 10.7 rebounds to pace his squad.
In the Big East, a pair of top-25 teams collide at 12:00PM EST as No. 11 Georgetown (21-7) hosts No. 17 Syracuse (23-6). Georgetown is a slim 1.5-point favorite. No. 15 Villanova (21-7) is at home to face No. 23 St. John’s (18-9) at 2:00PM EST. Villanova is shown to be a 6.5-point favorite. In SEC action, 22nd-ranked Kentucky (19-8) puts its unbeaten home record of 13-0 on the line as it faces 13th-ranked Florida (22-5) at 4:00PM EST. Oddsmakers have made Kentucky an 8-point favorite.
