Cal streaking, is an underdog at Arizona
Even though California has won seven straight and appears set for a first-round bye in the Pac-12 tournament, the Golden Bears are a heavy underdog tonight at Arizona.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Wildcats are a 7-point home favorite versus the Bears while the over/under is sitting at 147 points. Both the side and total have moved for this matchup, as Arizona opened as a 6-point favorite before the line jumped and the total opened at 146 before climbing a full point.

Despite the line movement, Cal is a solid play tonight as an underdog. The Golden Bears are a perfect 7-0 not only straight up over their last seven games, but also versus the spread. They’ve covered in 12 of their last 13 games coming off a win, are 6-0 ATS in their last six games versus a team with a winning record, and are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a win of more than 20 points.
Contrast those trends to Arizona, which is just 1-4 against the spread in its lat five games and 1-4 against the number in its last five games versus a team with a winning record. For one reason or another, the Wildcats have also struggled to cover on Thursday, going 2-6 ATS in their last eight games.
Cal’s streak has to end sometime but the line seems inflated for the Bears’ matchup tonight with the ‘Cats.
