The featured game of Thursday night has No. 8 Duke playing host to No. 16 Virginia at 9PM ET from Cameron Indoor Stadium (View Matchup). Both teams come into the game at 1-0 in the ACC while Duke is 13-2 overall and Virginia is 14-1 overall. Still, oddsmakers see Duke as the big favorite, giving them odds of -9.5 points against Virginia. The over/under total has been set at 129 points. Duke is 7-0 at home and Virginia is 3-0 on the road this season. The Blue Devils are just 6-9 against the spread on the year while the Cavaliers are 7-3 ATS. Duke has won the last seven games against Virginia.
The other featured game features the two rivals in the West Coast Conference as St. Mary’s hosts No. 21 Gonzaga at 11PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers see the Gaels as the favorite, giving them odds of -3.5 points against Gonzaga. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 129 points. St. Mary’s is 15-2 overall and 4-0 in the WCC while Gonzaga is 13-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play. The Bulldogs are just 1-1 on the road and 9-6 against the spread while the Gaels are 11-0 at home and 8-4 against the spread. Gonzaga has won the last two in the series.
