This tournament takes place from the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas and features two games each of the first three days with the championship on Monday night. The lowest four seeds play on Friday with the two winners moving on to face the third and fourth seeds. The winners of those two games then advance to face the top two seeds in the semifinals.

Gonzaga enters the tournament as the favorite according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com as they have 10/11 odds to win while St. Mary’s has 5/4 odds to win. The next shortest odds are Portland (9/1).

St. Mary’s has the No.1 seed in the tournament as it and Gonzaga both finished 11-3 in WCC play but St. Mary’s had the tiebreaker. The Gaels went 23-7 on the year while Gonzaga is 22-9.

Gonzaga has won the tournament 10 times in school history, the last coming in 2009. St. Mary’s won the title last year, which was just its second championship in school history.

Portland is the No. 5 seed with a 7-7 WCC record, but it went 20-10 on the season. Portland has only won the WCC Tournament one time, back in 1996.
