Duke is the favorite to win another regional according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com as the Blue Devils have 5/4 odds to win. Other short odds to win this regional are San Diego State (7/2), Connecticut (9/2), and Texas (9/2).

Duke is the top seed in the region and went 30-4 on the season and won the ACC Tournament title despite losing the regular season title by a game. The Blue Devils have reached 15 Final Fours in program history, including last year’s when they went on to win the national title.

San Diego State has been building up quite a program over recent years. This season, SDSU went 32-2 with both losses coming at the hands of BYU. The Aztecs still shared the Mountain West regular season title and went on to win the tournament crown. SDSU has never reached the Final Four. They will be the No. 2 seed in the region.

Connecticut went 26-9 during the regular season but is coming off a Big East Tournament championship in which it won five games in five days to earn the third seed in the region. The Huskies have reached three Final Fours, the last of which came in 2009.

Texas is the fourth seed in the West and went 27-7, finishing second in the regular season and tournament for the Big 12. The Longhorns have been to three Final Fours, the last of which came in 2003.
