Warriors open as 8.5-point favorites
OAKLAND, CA (The Spread) – The 2015 NBA Finals shifts back to California on Sunday night for Game 5 at 8:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Warriors opened as 8.5-point home favorites versus LeBron and the Cavs and that’s where the number currently lies. The total hasn’t moved either after opening at 195.5 points.
The Cavaliers are just 5-11 against the spread in their last 16 games versus the Warriors overall and are 2-6 against the number in their last eight road games against Golden State. They are, however, 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games playing on two days of rest and fatigue was a factor in their Game 4 demise.
The under has also been a profitable play when the Cavs and Warriors meet, cashing in six of the last seven games between these two teams.
