Underdog cashing in MIA vs. CLE
CLEVELAND, OH (The Spread) – LeBron James and the Cavs will host his former team tonight at 8:00PM ET when the Heat visit Cleveland in a nationally televised matchup.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cavs are 11.5-point home favorites over the Heat for tonight’s game while the over/under total is currently sitting at 194 points.
Before you place a wager on LeBron’s Cavs to cover the spread, know that the underdog has had a ton of success in recent meetings between these two teams. In the past eight games between the Cavs and Heat, the dog is 7-1 against the spread.
Then again, the Cavs are 8-1 against the number in their last nine home games while the Heat are just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games versus Central Division opponents. The Cavs are also 11-3 against the spread in their last 14 games overall while the Heat are 8-20-2 ATS in their last 30 games played on Wednesday.
