Thunder vs. Kings Pick
Are the Sacramento Kings going to keep it close tonight when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder at 10PM ET?
The Thunder are listed as an 11-point favorite on the spread line by oddsmakers at sports book Bovada.lv. The over-under sits at 203 points.
Oklahoma City comes in with a 4-5 record after a 103-99 loss at the Trail Blazers. The Kings are 1-8 following a 108-99 loss at the Pistons. The Thunder won two out of three meetings straight up and ATS last season. The over went 2-1.
The Thunder were led by Russell Westbrook as he had 25 points, nine assists and six rebounds in the loss at Portland. Paul George tallied 27 points and five rebounds. Carmelo Anthony scored 15 points before being ejected for a flagrant foul, while Raymond Felton also scored 15 off the bench. Oklahoma City outscored the hosts 32-25 in the fourth quarter, but were unable to notch the win.
Zach Randolph scored 19 points in the loss at Detroit. De’Aaron Fox and Bogdan Boganovic both put in 14 points, while Buddy Hield had 13 points and eight rebounds off the bench. The Kings trailed by three at halftime and then were outscored 33-25 in the third quarter.
The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings in Sacramento. The Kings are 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall.
Oklahoma City will certainly get it going eventually, but right now it is a struggling team and a lot of it has to due with deficiiencies late in games. That shouldn’t be an issue here after it blows past reeling Sacramento in the first three quarters. Bet on a blowout happening here because quite simply the Kings are not a good NBA team.
