Houston Rockets DFS Spin
Fred VanVleet provided 15 points (5-of-14 shooting), 16 assists, a rebound, a steal and three triples in Sunday’s loss to the Lakers. FVV was great Sunday, though his double-double and season-high assist total weren’t enough to lead Houston to a second straight victory over the Lakers. VanVleet had an easy time getting teammates involved, as Dillon Brooks shot a blistering 6-of-11 from beyond the arc, and Alperen Sengun took anyone in his path to the bucket.
Houston relied on its starters in this one, and Tari Eason – who will be available Monday for the second game of the back-to-back – led the bench with just 17 minutes. VanVleet and Co. will look to get back in the win column against a reeling Warriors team that has dropped six straight.
Golden State Warriors DFS Spin
Stephen Curry shot 8-of-21 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Saturday’s 130-123 overtime loss to the Thunder scoring 25 points with six rebounds, three assists, and five 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
Curry was back in action after missing two games with a sore knee, and he didn’t look tentative at all. The field goal percentage left something to be desired, but this is nothing for fantasy managers to be concerned with. Curry’s presence will help the Warriors across the board, with Andrew Wiggins producing his best line of the season and Chris Paul dishing out 11 assists to go along with 12 points, three steals, one block, and four 3-pointers.
