Pelicans vs. Spurs Prediction
The San Antonio Spurs are a whopping home favorite tonight versus the New Orleans Pelicans at 8:30PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Spurs are 19-point favorites versus the Pelicans while the over/under is sitting at 198 points. San Antonio had opened as a 20-point favorite before the line was bet down, while the total went from 196 down to 198.

The underdog is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams and the Pelicans have covered in six of their last seven games versus the Spurs. New Orleans is 9-4 against the number in its last 13 games played on Wednesday as well.
The Spurs, meanwhile, are just 2-9 against the spread in their last 11 games coming off a win and are 3-7 against the number in their last 10 games playing on one day of rest in between. They’re also at 0-5 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win as well.

The Spurs will win tonight. They’ll win comfortably, in fact. But 19 points is a lot to lay in a professional game when you don’t know if the favorite will suffer a natural letdown playing against an opponent it knows it can handle. Take the points.
