Will the Wizards once again struggle to cover against the Celtics tonight when they visit Boston at 7:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Celtics are 3.5-point home favorites versus the Wizards while the over/under currently sits at 216.5 points. Boston opened as a 1.5-point favorite before the line moved to 3.5, while the total opened at 215.5 before climbing to the current number of 216.5.

Washington enters play tonight having won six of its last 10 games but is a horrid 2-7-1 against the spread during that 10-game span. The Wizards are still a profitable 36-32 against the spread on the season, but are 15-16 ATS on the road this year.
Boston has also won six of its last 10 games and has at least split at the betting window, going 5-5 against the number during that 10-game stretch. The Celtics are 35-33 against the spread on the year but for one reason or another, have struggled to cover at home, where they are 14-18 ATS.
OUR PREDICTION: The Wizards have failed to cover the spread in five of the last seven meetings with the Celtics and are 0-4 against the number in their last four games in Boston. Washington is also just 1-10-1 against the number in its last 12 games playing on one day of rest and is winless at 0-4 ATS in its last four games overall. The home team is also 6-2 against the spread in the last eight meetings between these two teams while the home team has cashed in six of the last eight meetings.
MONDAY NBA PREDICTION: BOSTON CELTICS -3.5
