Houston opened as a 6.5-point favorite before the line moved up, while the total has also gone down a tick from 213.5. The spread has gone as high as -8.5, while the total has hit 216 points before coming back down. While the spread line seems to be at -8.5 most places, the total can be found anywhere from 212.5 to 214.5.

INJURY TO WATCH
Celtics power forward Daniel Theis missed the last game with a sore hamstring and is doubtful to play tonight. Brandan Wright (knee) and Ryan Anderson (hip flexor) have each missed the last two games and will be out again tonight.
BETTING STRATEGY
The Rockets were absolutely throtting the Celtics when they met on Dec. 28, leading by 26 points before Boston remarkably rallied in the second half for a 99-98 victory. Don’t expect a repeat. James Harden stated in interviews he fully remembers that game and expect a huge night out of him tonight. The Celtics have covered the spread in six of the last 10 meetings, so look for Houston to be focused on tilting that back its way tonight. The under has also hit 10 straight times and is 13-3 in the last 16 meetings in Houston so that’s another bet worth considering, especially if you can find a total higher than where it is at other books.
