Kings vs. 76ers Pick
Will the Philadelphia 76ers rebound from recent losses to post a decisive victory tonight against the visiting Sacramento Kings? Tip-off is at 7PM ET.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the 76ers are listed as an 8.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total sits at 208 points.
Sacramento enters with a 9-20 overall record and 12-14-3 ATS after a 108-93 loss at the Raptors. Philadelphia is 14-15 overall and 16-12-1 ATS following a 117-115 loss at the Bulls Monday night, its sixth defeat in seven games. The Kings won the first meeting this season 109-108 on their home floor back on Nov. 9. Sacramento is 2-1 straight up and 1-2 ATS in three meetings since the start of last season. The over is 2-1.
The Kings were paced by Garrett Temple with 18 points, two rebounds and two assists in the loss at Toronto. Bogdan Bogdanovic contributed 18 points, five assists and three rebounds off the bench. George Hill added 16 points and five assists. Sacramento was outscored 47-30 in the second half.
Dario Saric led the Sixers with 27 points, eight rebounds and two steals in the loss at Chicago. Ben Simmons tallied 19 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and four blocked shots. Richaun Holmes added 14 points, seven boards and three assists off the bench. Philadelphia trailed 67-59 at halftime and was unable to climb back all the way.
Sacramento is 7-19 ATS in the last 26 meetings. The over is 5-1-1 in the last seven meetings.
Philadelphia will welcome back center Joel Embiid tonight after he missed the Chicago game due to rest coupled with some back tightness. His presence alone will be a huge boost as he contributes heavily in all areas. The Kings, meanwhile, will be without Hill (illness) although De’Aaron Fox is expected to return after missing a game with an injury. Sacramento’s offense doesn’t always run smoothly under Fox, who is still adjusting to NBA life as a rookie. Look for the Sixers to come out and make a statement after its recent struggles.
