Cavs vs. Lakers Prediction
After getting smoked last night by the Clippers, will the Cavs rebound with a win and cover versus the Lakers tonight at 9:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cavs are 11.5-point road favorites versus the Lakers after opening as 10-point favorites. As for the total, the number hit the board at 224 and has been bet down to 233.

Cleveland is just 4-6 over its last 10 games and 4-5-1 against the spread during that span. The Cavs also own a losing ATS record on the season at 31-34, which includes a 14-19 record against the spread on the road this year.
Los Angeles is a dreadful 1-9 over its last 10 games and is just 2-7-1 against the spread during that timeframe as well. The Lakers are just 29-38 against the spread on the season, which includes a 13-17 ATS mark at home this year.
OUR PREDICTION: The Cavs were routed 108-78 last night by the Clippers but LeBron James and Kyrie Irving didn’t play. With both players presumably back in the lineup tonight, the Cavs should roll against a Lakers team in clear tank mode. The Lakers are just 1-5-1 against the spread in their last seven home games, are 2-10-1 against the number in their last 13 games overall, and are 2-8-1 at the betting window in their last 11 games coming off a loss.
