Are the Nets undervalued as a home underdog today against the Mavericks at 12:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Nets are 4.5-point home underdogs versus the Mavericks while the over/under currently sits at 208.5 points, down from the original number of 209.

Dallas enters play this afternoon having won six of its last 10 games and is 6-4 against the spread during that same stretch. The Mavericks own a winning ATS record on the season at 37-31, but are just 14-18 against the number on the road this year.
Brooklyn has dropped six of its last 10 games but covered in seven of those 10 contests. The Nets are also 32-33 against the spread on the season, including 14-20 against the number at home. They have covered in back-to-back games, however.
OUR PREDICTION: The Mavericks are just 1-4 at the betting window in their last five games overall, have covered just twice in their last seven road games and are winless at 0-4 against the spread in their last four games versus Atlantic opponents. The Nets, meanwhile, have covered in six of their last seven games overall, are 4-0 against the number in their last four games coming off a loss, and are 5-1 against the number in their last six games playing on one day of rest. There’s value in the home underdog today.
