Spurs good bet coming off losses
LOS ANGELES, CA (The Spread) – The Spurs will visit the Clippers for Game 2 of the Conference Quarterfinals tonight at 10:30PM ET and they’ve been a good bet to cover coming off losses recently.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Clippers are 1.5-point home favorites versus the Spurs after opening as a 1-point favorite for tonight’s game. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 207.5 points after opening at 205.5.
The Spurs are winless at 0-4 against the spread in their last four games overall and 1-7 ATS in their last eight Conference Quarterfinals games. That said, they’re 4-1 against the spread in their last five games coming off a loss and are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
Gregg Popovich couldn’t have been too pleased with his team’s effort on Sunday in a 107-92 loss and one would think the defending champs will play better tonight.
