Warriors vs. Grizzlies Series Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The Golden State Warriors hope to take another step toward the NBA Finals when they face the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round, but will it be a challenge for Golden State?
Golden State is the top seed in the Western Conference and the Warriors disposed of the New Orleans Pelicans in the opening round in a sweep. Memphis is the fifth seed in the West. The Grizzlies defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in five games. Memphis is 59-28 on the season while Golden State is 71-15. The Warriors will have the home-court advantage in the series.
According to the latest oddsmakers, the Warriors are the clear favorite in this series, as they are getting odds of -975 to win, while the Grizzlies have a money line of +650 to win. Game 1 of this series will be held on Sunday at 3:30PM ET.
These two teams met three times during the regular season and Golden State won two of the three meetings while the Grizzlies were 2-1 against the spread. The Warriors were the lone team to pick up a win on the road in the three games. Dating back to 2012, Memphis has won six of its last 10 against the Warriors and is 7-3 ATS in those 10 games. These two hit the under in two of their three meetings this season and have hit the under in four of their last six overall meetings.
