Ibaka out, Thunder host Celtics
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (The Spread) – The Celtics visit a Thunder team tonight that will be missing the services of Serge Ibaka for the next 4-6 weeks.
Ibaka will miss the next 4-6 weeks of action after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to help eliminate persistent soreness in his right knee. With that 4-6 week timetable, Ibaka will miss the remainder of the regular season. With Ibaka out, Russell Westbrook will be counted on even more than he already is currently for the Thunder.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Thunder are 7-point favorites over the Celtics after opening as 8-point favorites. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 212 after opening at 212.5.
The Celtics are 0-4 against the spread in their last four games versus the Thunder while the favorite is a profitable 5-2 at the betting window in the last seven meetings between these two teams.
