Sunday’s NBA DFS Predictions
The NBA Schedule for Sunday, March 18 has three night games to consider for DFS. Here’s our NBA Daily Fantasy suggestions based on tonight’s contests.
Point Guard – Pelicans’ Rajon Rondo (vs. Boston, 6PM ET) $5,500
Rondo is a bit of an up-and-down player in fantasy, but today seems like a perfect setup for him. He rested last night, so he should be able to log big minutes tonight and he is facing his former team in Boston. If we know anything about Rondo, it is that he holds a grudge. I expect him to be very motivated today and to put up a big fantasy number with a very cheap price.
Shooting Guard – Rockets’ James Harden (at Minnesota, 7PM ET) $11,000
Harden is my big-money play tonight with Davis on a back-to-back. Harden is also on a back-to-back, but that hasn’t stopped him from producing. He put up 50 fantasy points the last time he was on the second game of a back-to-back at Milwaukee on March 7. Against Minnesota, Harden is averaging 25 points, 9.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game.
Small Forward – Timberwolves’ Andrew Wiggins (vs. Houston, 7PM ET) $6,100
Wiggins has been a great play since the injury to Jimmy Butler and I like his matchup with the Rockets tonight. This game should see plenty of points and Wiggins has become a top scoring option for Minnesota. Wiggins has at least 20 points in six of his last eight and that has led to at least 30 fantasy points in eight of his last nine.
Power Forward – Clippers’ Tobias Harris (vs. Portland, 10:30PM ET) $7,500
Harris continues to be a top fantasy option for the Clippers since joining the team weeks ago. He has put up 90 fantasy points over his last two games and I think he can do the same against the Blazers tonight. In March, Harris is averaging 22.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game over eight contests.
Center – Celtics’ Greg Monroe (at New Orleans, 6PM ET) $5,000
Monroe is a risky play, as he is coming off the bench. However, he has earned minutes over his last two games. Playing a combined 46 minutes, he has put up 33 points, 15 rebounds, four steals and three blocks over the two games. That has led to back-to-back fantasy games over 32 points. Given the cheap tag, Monroe has a lot of value right now.
