Monday’s NBA DFS Predictions
Monday features just one NBA Playoff game as the 76ers and Celtics open their Eastern Conference semifinals. Here’s our NBA Daily Fantasy plays for tonight’s Game 1.
In a single game format on DraftKings, players get to selection six options at any position with a $50,000 budget. Here’s the six players we are using for the contest.
76ers’ Ben Simmons, $15,600: Simmons has been the best play for the 76ers in the playoffs. He has the potential for a triple-double every night. He is heading to Boston and has the chance to really show how talented he is. I expect him to put up big numbers, pushing near 60 fantasy points.
Celtics’ Al Horford, $13,200: Horford has really stepped up in the crucial games, especially at home. With the injuries at guard, it has been up to Horford to really produce on offense and help with rebounding. He has a tough task this series, but you are certain to get his max effort.
Celtics’ Marcus Smart, $6,800: Smart hasn’t gotten his shooting back since returning from injury, going just 6-of-23 from the field and 0-of-8 from 3-point land. Still, he hasn’t let that impact his defensive effort. Smart remains a feisty defender that rebounds well and creates steals and blocks. He will be tasked with slowing down Simmons, so he should see a lot of court time, which should lead to fantasy points.
76ers’ JJ Redick, $6,200: Redick has been somewhat streaky in these playoffs, but he still has managed to lead the team in scoring through the first series. He faces a Boston team in this series that he averaged 19.3 points per game against during the season.
Celtics’ Marcus Morris, $4,600: Morris hasn’t really had any big games in the playoffs, but he has been pretty consistent at staying around 20 fantasy points. He has the potential to get around 30 if he hits a few extra shots. Still, he will play consistent minutes and is someone that can grab stats other than points.
Celtics’ Shane Larkin, $1,600: Larkin saw some more minutes in Game 7 against the Bucks due to the injury to Jaylen Brown. Brown is questionable to paly tonight and Larkin definitely will have a bigger role if he can’t play. You are down to few reliable options at the bottom of the roster, so you are just hoping for Brown to not play and Larkin to land you 20+ fantasy points.
