Public loves Mavs on Thursday
SACRAMENTO, CA (The Spread) – The Mavericks are small road favorites tonight versus the Kings and have strong backing by public bettors.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Mavericks are 2-point road favorites versus the Kings while the over/under total for tonight’s 10:05PM ET tip off is set at 209 points.
Our NBA Public Betting page shows that 75% of public bettors currently favor Dallas in tonight’s game but the line movement indicates that wiseguys are on Sacramento. That’s because the Mavs opened as 3.5-point favorites but the line has been bet down to 2 at most sports books.
The Mavericks are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games versus the Kings and 2-6 against the number in their last eight games in Sacramento. The home team is also 12-4 against the number in the last 16 games between these two teams while the underdog is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings.
