Timberwolves vs. Blazers Prediction
The Portland Trail Blazers’ playoff destiny is squarely in their hands heading into tonight’s 10:30PM ET tip-off with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Blazers are 8.5-point home favorites versus the Timberwolves while the over/under is sitting at 215 points, up from the opening number of 214.5.

The Blazers currently control their own destiny. They’re locked into a playoff spot but are still battling the Grizzlies and Mavericks for the 5-7 seeds in the Western Conference. If they beat the Timberwolves tonight and the Nuggets on Wednesday, they’ll be the fifth seed. Since they don’t own the tiebreaker with the Mavericks, a single loss will drop them as low as the seventh seed if both Dallas and Memphis win out.
That’s why tonight is big for the Blazers, who are 10-2 against the spread in their last 12 games playing on two days of rest. They’re also 6-1-1 against the number in their last eight home games versus the Timberwolves and are 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 games overall versus Minnesota.

Despite being 5-1 against the spread in their last six road games, the T-Wolves have failed to cover in five of their last seven games overall and are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven contests versus Western Conference foes as well.
