Clippers vs. Celtics Prediction
The Clippers struggled in their first game since trading Tobias Harris but will their second game without their leading scorer result in a more competitive game? They’ll look to upset the Celtics tonight in Boston.

Our NBA Live Odds page pulls spreads and totals from multiple different online sportsbooks so you can compare betting odds to ensure you’re getting the best line.
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Celtics are 11.5-point favorites to beat the Clippers. The total, meanwhile, sits at 228.5 points and as of this writing, 55% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Clippers to cover the point spread.
Los Angeles Clippers Fantasy Spin
JaMychal Green (knee) is not on the injury report for Saturday against the Celtics. His knee injury had kept him out at times and he was questionable for Thursday prior to the trade, so this will be something to watch. Green wore big packs on his knees while on the bench during games during last month, and it wasn’t just a deadline-related injury. If he is healthy, he will have a shot to start next to Danilo Gallinari with a shot a fantasy value.
Boston Celtics Fantasy Spin
Jayson Tatum notched his sixth double-double of the season on Thursday with 22 points, 10 boards, five dimes, one steal and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes. Tatum was super-efficient with 9-of-14 field goals and 3-of-3 free throws, and he didn’t commit a single turnover for the fourth time in five games. He obviously didn’t seem rattled by trade-deadline rumors suggesting he’ll be central to Boston’s pitch for Anthony Davis this offseason, and there’s no reason he can’t maintain a steady top-40 presence in almost any fantasy format. He’s that good.
NBA Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Clippers are 9-4 against the spread in their last 13 road games.
Boston
The Celtics are just 1-4 at the betting window in their last five games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous contest.
Prediction
The Clippers turned the ball over 21 times in their 116-92 loss to the Pacers on Thursday. Without Harris, I expect L.A. to struggle again tonight against the Celtics, who look to rebound following their buzzer-beater loss to the Lakers as a 9-point home favorite on Thursday night. The Celtics are 37-18 against the spread in their last 55 games at TD Garden and are 19-7 against the number in their last 26 home games versus a team with a w inning road record.
Saturday NBA Prediction: Boston Celtics -11.5
