Cavs vs. Hawks Game 2 Line Movement
ATLANTA, GA (The Spread) – LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavs opened as favorites for tonight’s Game 2 matchup with the Hawks but are now viewed as underdogs by oddsmakers.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Cavs opened as 1.5-point road favorites for tonight’s 8:30PM ET tip off, but now LeBron and Co. are listed as 2.5-point underdogs. The total, meanwhile, opened at 198.5 and has dropped a full three points to 195.5.
The over is 6-2 in the last eight meetings between these two teams while the home team is 6-2 against the spread in the last eight meetings and the Cavs are 1-4 at the betting window in their last five games in Atlanta.
The Cavs were 2.5-point underdogs for Game 1 and wound up covering easily in a 97-89 victory.
