Grizzlies vs. Blazers Series Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – Look for a lot of physicality and a lot of competitive games when the Portland Trail Blazers meet the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
Portland is the fourth seed in the Western Conference, as the Blazers were 51-31 this past season. The Blazers were 32-9 at home, 19-22 on the road and 31-21 in conference play. Memphis is the fifth seed in the conference. The Grizzlies had a 55-27 overall record while going 31-10 at home, 24-17 on the road and 35-17 against conference opponents. Memphis will have the home-court advantage in this series.
According to the oddsmakers at online sports book GT Bets, the Grizzlies are favored to win this series, as they are getting odds of -180 to win. Portland has been given a money line of +157 to prevail. Game 1 of the series will be held on Sunday at 8PM ET.
These two met four times during the season and Memphis actually won all four meetings, covering the spread in all four games in the process. The Grizzlies have had Portland’s number for the past few seasons, as Memphis is 9-1 straight up and 8-2 against the spread in its last 10 meetings with the Blazers. These two have hit the over in four of their last six meetings.
