Warriors vs. Jazz Prediction

The Warriors will look to draw closer to the NBA record of 73 wins when they visit the Jazz tonight at 9:00PM ET. But will Golden State cover as a road favorite?

After opening as a 5.5-point favorite, the Warriors are now -5 to beat the Jazz tonight in Utah according to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv. As for the total, the number opened at 205 but has been bet down three full points to 202.

Bet Tonight’s Warriors vs. Jazz Game

The Warriors will be playing on back-to-back nights after beating the Wizards on Tuesday night but Steve Kerr said he doesn’t plan on resting his star players despite the no rest. Golden State has covered the number in six of the last eight meetings between these two teams and is also 3-1-1 against the spread in its last five games versus Northwest opponents.

As for the Jazz, they’re just 1-8 against the spread in their last nine games versus a team with a winning record and are also 2-7 ATS in their last nine games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous contest.

While Utah is 8-2 ATS in its last 10 games, the number seems too low to take a flier on the home underdog. The Warriors are 12-7 at the betting window this season when playing on no rest, winning by an average margin of 10.3 points in those games. Five points isn’t much to ask bettors to lay on a Golden State team that continues to roll.
