Jayson Tatum hit 12-of-29 shots and 8-of-9 free throws for 34 points, six rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and two triples in Wednesday’s Game 5 loss to Milwaukee. These two teams alternated wins and losses in the first four games, and the Celtics were on their way towards breaking the pattern before an epic collapse in the fourth. Tatum has had his struggles in this matchup, shooting 38% from the field for 22.5 points coming into Wednesday. He appears to have turned a corner in the last two games though, but he will need to be even better in Game 6 if the Celtics hope to fight another day. Look for the Bucks to continue to throw a bunch of different guys on Tatum in Game 6.
Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo poured in 40 points in Wednesday’s Game 5 win over Boston to go with 11 rebounds, three assists, one block, one steal and two triples in 40 minutes. This was one of the most epic games of the postseason so far and Giannis delivered quite the show in the fourth quarter with blood dripping from the side of his face. He drilled a clutch 3-pointer with just under two minutes to play as the Bucks rallied from 12 points behind. After that, Jrue Holiday did the rest with some of the best defense you’ll ever see. Giannis has had to work for every basket in this series with Al Horford playing some incredible defense, as the Celtics held him to 43% shooting in the previous four games. You can only contain this guy for so long though, and tonight he showed us why the Bucks are the defending champs.
