Celtics vs. Cavs Game 2 Trends
CLEVELAND, OH (The Spread) – The Cavs will host the Celtics in Game 2 of the Conference Quarterfinals tonight at 7:00PM ET and are struggling to cover the spread on limited rest.
The Cavs beat the Celtics 113-100 and covered as a 12-point home favorite but they’re 0-5 at the betting window in their last five games playing off only one day of rest. They’re also 1-5 against the number in their last six games following a successful cover and are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.
On the other side, the Celtics are 5-1 against the spread in their last six road games despite the failed cover in Game 1 and are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 road games versus a team with a winning home record.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Cavs are 11-point home favorites versus the Celtics for tonight’s game while the total is now sitting at 207 after opening at 203.
