According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Towns is the favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick on June 25 when the 2015 NBA Draft takes place in Brooklyn. Okafor, meanwhile, currently has 7/4 odds to be the No. 1 selection while “Any Other Player” is listed with 5/1 odds.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are in possession of the No. 1 overall pick this year and president Flip Saunders said that his team stresses a need for two-way players. If you read between the lines that would indicate that the Wolves will go with Towns, although Okafor’s offensive skill set could wind up putting him over the top. Minnesota has plenty of time to make a decision.
