The Heat are the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference while the Nets are the No. 6 seed. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Miami is the clear favorite to win this series, as the Heat have odds of -550 to win, while the Nets have a money line of +420.
Miami went 54-28 this season, winning the Southeast Division. The Heat were 32-9 at home, 22-19 on the road and 34-18 in conference play. Miami averaged 102.2 points per game on offense this season while allowing 97.4 points per contest defensively. The Heat disposed of the Charlotte Bobcats in four games to advance to this round.
