(TheSpread) β The Oklahoma City may have their hands full in the second round of the 2013 NBA Playoffs, as they now face the Memphis Grizzlies. Here is a look at the odds to win this series.
This series is part of the Western Conference playoffs with the Thunder as the No. 1 seed and the Grizzlies as the No. 5 seed (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Grizzlies are the slight favorite to win, as they have odds of -120 to prevail, while the Thunder have odds of +100, despite having the home-court advantage. Game 1 of the series will be played on Sunday at 1PM ET in Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma City disposed of Houston in the first round, but lost guard Russell Westbrook for the playoffs with a knee injury. Memphis defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, the fourth seed, in six games. Oklahoma City is 64-24 on the season, 36-8 at home, 28-16 on the road and 52-34-2 against the spread. Memphis is 60-28 overall, 25-19 on the road, 35-9 at home and 51-35-2 against the spread. These two met three times during the regular season, with Memphis winning two of the three meetings and the Thunder covering in two of the three.
