Mavs vs. Thunder Gm 3 Props
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (TheSpread) – The Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder play their pivotal Game 3 of the 2011 Western Conference Finals on Saturday. Here is a look at the prop odds for this contest.
The Thunder won Game 2 106-100 to even the series at 1-1. It was the first time Dallas lost at home in this playoffs. The Thunder shot 55.7 percent from the field while Dallas shot just 43.8 percent.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com the Mavericks are still a slight favorite to win the series with odds of -145 while the Thunder now have a money line of +115 to win the series. Oklahoma City is a slight favorite to win Game 3 with a point spread of -2.5 points.
Despite the victory, there were some issues for the Thunder as starting point guard, Russell Westbrook was benched in the fourth quarter for bad play. Westbrook had 18 points, but also committed four turnovers. For Game 3, Westbrook has been given over/under odds of 21.5 points. Westbrook has failed to score at least 22 points in both playoff games with Dallas and he has failed to do it in four of his last five games. In three regular season meetings with Dallas, Westbrook didn’t score more than 15 points in any game.
For Dallas, guard Jason Kidd had 13 points, five rebounds, and seven assists in Game 2. For Game 3, he has been given over/under odds of 16 for total points + assists in the contest. Kidd had just three points and 11 assists in Game 1, but in three regular season meetings with the Thunder, Kidd has 29 assists and 18 points, which is an average of just over 15 combined points and assists per game.
