Despite falling behind 1-0 in the conference finals with Chicago, Miami rattled off four-straight victories to win the title. Miami closed out Game 5 on an 18-3 run to pick up an 83-80 win on the road.

According oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com the Heat had 3/2 odds to win the NBA Eastern Conference title entering the playoffs so a $100 wager on Miami will pay out an additional $150.

Miami is now 12-3 in the playoffs as it won all three series it played in, 4-1. Miami beat Philadelphia and Boston on the road to Chicago.

This is the second conference title in franchise history for Miami. The last came in 2006 when the Heat went on to win the NBA Championship over the Dallas Mavericks. The Heat will once again face the Mavericks in this year’s NBA Finals.
