The Boston Celtics won their second Eastern Conference Championship in three years on Friday as they defeated the Orlando Magic to reach the 2010 NBA Finals.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com, Boston opened with 8/1 odds to win the East meaning at $100 bet on the Celtics will pay out an additional $800.
Boston opened the playoffs with a 4-1 series win over Miami. The Celtics took a 3-0 lead in the series thanks to holding the Heat to just 87.6 points per-game. Boston scored 95.8 points per-game in the series and shot 47.4 percent from the field.
In the second round, Boston defeated the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in six games. Boston won three games in the series by at least 10 points as the Celtics averaged 100.5 points per-game and one again shot 47 percent from the field in the series.
In the conference finals, the Celtics defeated Orlando 4-2. Boston took a 3-0 lead in the series thanks to two road wins to start. Boston averaged 93.5 points per-game in the series while holding Orlando to 90.7 points per-game. The Celtics shot 40.6 percent from 3-point land during the six games.
Boston will now face the Western Conference Champion in the NBA Finals starting on Thursday, June 3.
