Cleveland defeated Chicago 4-1 in the opening round of the playoffs. LeBron James injured his right arm during the series, but he expects to play against the Celtics.

Boston has won 17 NBA titles in franchise history, with the last coming in 2008. The Celtics also own 20 Eastern Conference crowns. Boston was 50-32 this season to win the Atlantic Division. The Celtics were only 24-17 at home but had a 26-15 record on the road, which ties Cleveland for the best road record. The Celtics were 33-19 against conference opponents.
