In this matchup, the top-seeded Cavaliers are a strong favorite to win the series over the fourth-seeded Celtics.

Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have given Cleveland a betting line of -500 to win this series while Boston has been given a +400 line.

Cleveland has won one conference title in franchise history, which came in 2007, but Cleveland has never won the NBA title. The Cavaliers are an impressive 35-6 at home this season, which is the best home record in the NBA. Cleveland was also 26-15 on the road, which was the second most wins of any team in the league. The Cavaliers won the Central Division by 15 games over Milwaukee as they finished 61-21 on the year. Cleveland was 38-14 against Eastern Conference opponents. Cleveland defeated Chicago 4-1 in the opening round of the playoffs. LeBron James injured his right arm during the series, but he expects to play against the Celtics.

Boston has won 17 NBA titles in franchise history, with the last coming in 2008. The Celtics also own 20 Eastern Conference crowns. Boston was 50-32 this season to win the Atlantic Division. The Celtics were only 24-17 at home but had a 26-15 record on the road, which ties Cleveland for the best road record. The Celtics were 33-19 against conference opponents. The Celtics defeated Miami 4-1 in the first round of the playoffs. The Celtics won three of the games by nine points or more.
