The NASCAR Xfinity Series is back on action later today for the running of the Sparks Energy 300. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the win.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Joey Logano is the favorite in this race, as he has 7/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Erik Jones (6/1), Daniel Suarez (7/1) and Kasey Kahne (7/1). The Sparks Energy 300 takes place today at 1PM ET from Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama.
Joey Logano is the top name in this race and can’t be ignored when placing your wager. He is a two-time winner of this particular race and he already owns an Xfinity Series win this year in Texas. Logano is the man to beat with Kyle Busch not in the mix.
Erik Jones hasn’t had a lot of success in this race, but he is riding a hot streak that makes him appealing. Jones has won the last two Xfinity races he has competed in and also has two other top-5 finishes on top of that. Jones should be able to give Logano some trouble this afternoon.
Kasey Kahne isn’t one to compete in a lot of Xfinity Series race, so when he does, you have to believe it’s at a track he’s very comfortable at. Of the last eight races he has driven in, he has finished in the top 5 in five of them. With this field lacking in many big names, look for Kahne to make a push for the win.
