Edwards vs. Harvick Odds
SONOMA, CA (TheSpread) – Kevin Harvick and Carl Edwards are sitting atop the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings, but which driver will have the edge in Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350?
According to oddsmakers at online sports book Bodog Harvick has the edge in this matchup with odds of -145 to finish ahead of Edwards, who has odds of +115 to beat Harvick on Sunday.
Neither driver qualified all that well for the race as Edwards qualified 23rd and Harvick will start 26th. In terms of the 2011 season, Edwards has a 20-point edge on Harvick for the lead in the standings. Edwards has one win and eight top 5’s while Harvick has three wins and six top 5’s.
At Infineon, neither driver has found much success. Edwards has competed there six times without a win. He has just two top 10’s and no top 5’s. His average finish is 18.8 while his driver rating is just 83.8 at the track. For Harvick, he has three top 5’s in 10 races at Infineon. His average finish is 16.8 while his driver rating is 82.6.
