Royals vs. Mets Game 5 Prediction
The over has cashed in all four World Series games that have been played between the Royals and Mets. Time to go the other way for Game 5 tonight at 8:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Mets are -143 money line favorites over the Royals for tonight’s game, while Kansas City has odds of +132 to pull off the upset tonight. With Matt Harvey set to face Edinson Volquez in the pitching matchup, the total currently sits at 7 runs.
The under is 6-1 in Volquez’s last seven starts versus a team with a winning record and is 4-0 in his last four starts after the Royals scored five runs or more in their previous game. The under is also 16-7-1 in the Mets’ lat 24 playoff games and 22-9 in their last 31 interleague home games versus a team with a winning record.
Playoff elimination games are usually low-scoring and close and with the over cashing four straight times heading into tonight, it’s a good time to fade that trend and take the under.
