Vargas has been the ace for Kansas City this season, but he hasn’t quite been on his game for a few weeks. That could be trouble tonight, because Wacha has been at his best. Wacha should continue his upward climb against this Kansas City lineup that is without one of its bigger hitters. I like the Cardinals to be able to work Vargas for a few runs early and grind out the win.
