MLB Betting Trends

Washington

The Nationals are 6-2 in their last eight games. The under is 39-19-1 in the last 59 Washington road games.

Atlanta

The Braves are 6-2 in their last eight home games versus the Nationals. Atlanta is 2-6 in Newcomb’s last eight home starts.

Prediction:

Roark seemingly had turned a corner, but has now fallen back on hard times with the Nats playing out the string this season. As for Newcomb, he had taken a step forward this season yet has struggled with inconsistency and had worn down the last couple months. I think both offenses take advantage of shaky starting pitcher as well as the bullpens.
