Rays vs. Astros Prediction
Zack Littell will oppose Brandon Bielak in Sunday’s pitching matchup when Yordan Alvarez and the Astros host the Rays at 2:10 p.m. ET. With the moneyline set as essentially a pick’em and the total sitting at 9 runs, what’s smart bet today in Houston?

Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN
Isaac Paredes hit his 19th and 20th homers Saturday against the Astros. Paredes would be a perfect fit in Houston with the ability to take aim at the Crawford Boxes 81 times per year, but he didn’t need the short porch tonight; Statcast said his first homer would have been gone in 28 parks and the second homer would have made it out of all 30. Of course, both were pulled down the right field line; all 42 of his career homers have gone out to right
Houston Astros DFS SPIN
José Abreu went 3-for-3 and hit one of five Astros homers in Saturday’s 17-4 thrashing of the Rays. Abreu supplied one of the Astros’ two homers before Tampa Bay mailed it in. The other three long balls came off backup catcher Rene Pinto, who pitched the seventh inning even though the Rays had a perfectly well stocked bullpen. Abreu treaded water for most of July after his nice surge in June, but with homers in back-to-back games, his numbers are trending back up. His current .667 OPS is his best mark since Apr. 9

Rays vs. Astros MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I like Houston today in the series finale. Bielak allowed a season-high six runs while walking four and striking out five over just 4/23 innings in his last start, which came on Monday against the Rangers. That said, only three of those runs were earned and while he didn’t pitch well, he’s still 2-1 with a 2.01 ERA in four starts since being recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land on July 3. Houston has won three of those starts, by the way. On the other side, Littell is 0-2 with a 5.11 ERA and doesn’t figure to pitch deep into the game.
