The Phillies can punch their ticket to the World Series with a victory on Sunday over the Padres at 2:37 p.m. ET.
With Zack Wheeler on the hill, is Philadelphia the smart play as a home favorite or will Yu Darvish come through or San Diego backers?

San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Juan Soto walloped a two-run homer on Saturday in the Padres’ NLCS Game 4 loss to the Phillies. Soto connected on a hanging breaking ball from Phillies southpaw Brad Hand, launching a majestic two-run homer into the right-field seats in the fifth inning. It was his first postseason homer in a Padres uniform, but it wasn’t enough as the Phillies emerged victorious in a thrilling back-and-forth shootout. San Diego needs to pull out a win on Sunday in Game 5 to keep their season alive.
Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
Rhys Hoskins launched a pair of two-run home runs on Saturday, powering the Phillies to a 10-6 victory over the Padres in Game 4 of the NLCS. With the victory, the Phillies find themselves one win away from advancing to the World Series for the first time since 2009. Hoskins put the Phillies on the scoreboard, helping erase an early four-run deficit in a back-and-forth slugfest in Philadelphia, with a two-run homer to left-center field off Padres starter Mike Clevinger in the opening frame. He also delivered a game-tying two-run blast to left field against southpaw Sean Manaea in the fifth inning.

Padres vs. Phillies MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Even though they’re on the brink of elimination following yet another loss at Citizens Bank Park, I don’t believe the fight is out of San Diego just yet. The Padres are 6-1 in their last seven games coming off a loss, are 5-2 in their last seven road games versus a right-handed starter and are 4-1 in their last five games when facing an opposing starter with a WHIP less than 1.15. On the other side, the Phillies have dropped seven out of their last 10 games after allowing five runs or more in their previous contest and are just 2-6 in their last eight games played on Sunday. I see San Diego finding a way today to force a Game 6 at Petco Park.
