Baltimore Orioles DFS SPIN
Gunnar Henderson was removed from Saturday night’s showdown against the Giants due to discomfort in his lower back. It sounds like it was more of a precautionary move than anything else, and may not be something that requires a trip to the injured list. The Orioles will likely wait and see how he’s feeling on Sunday morning before making any determinations, but it’s likely to be a day-to-day situation for the 21-year-old infielder.
San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Wilmer Flores finished 3-for-4 with two RBI as the Giants’ designated hitter on Saturday. Flores was on the bench in seven straight games towards the end of last month, but he’s started three of the last five. Michael Conforto’s absence is probably mostly responsible for the last two of those starts. Flores hasn’t been too bad in hitting .248/.299/.436, but he’s taken a backseat because of the play of J.D. Davis and Casey Schmitt in the infield. It also hurts that the Giants have clearly soured on him at second base; it was his most common position last year, but he hasn’t started one game there in 2023.
