(The Spread) – Ichiro and the Mariners have struggled in Jason Vargas’ recent road starts versus the Rangers, while the Brewers have had plenty of success against the Cubs.

The Mariners are just 1-4 in Vargas’ last five road starts versus the Rangers and 19-46 in their last 65 games in Texas. Seattle is also just 21-43 in their last 64 games overall versus the Rangers, who are 7-1 in Derek Holland’s last eight starts overall.

Brewers (-130) vs. Cubs (+122), 2:20PM ET
The Brew Crew have owned the Cubs in recent matchups, going 10-2 in their last 12 games versus Chicago and 4-1 in their last five road games versus their NL Central Division foes. The Cubs are just 1-6 in their last seven games overall, 1-5 in their last six home games and 1-5 in their last six games as a home underdog.

Despite their brutal effort in a 17-8 loss to the Rockies last night, the Giants have had success versus Colorado when Madison Bumgarner has been on the hill. San Francisco is 4-1 in Bumgarner’s last five starts versus the Rockies and 5-1 in its last six games in Colorado. The G-Men are also 8-2 in their last 10 games versus the Rockies, who are 0-7 in their last seven games after scoring five runs or more in their previous contest.

Marlins (-105) vs. Phillies (-101), 7:05PM ET
Philadelphia is 4-1 in Joe Blanton’s last five starts against the Marlins, who are 8-22 in their last 30 games versus the Phillies. Miami is also 2-8 in its last 10 games versus Philadelphia overall and 1-6 in its last seven road games versus a right-handed starter.
