PUBLIC BETTING INFORMATION

As of this writing, 61% of betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Twins to win on the money line. Meanwhile, 65% of the betting tickets are on the under.

OUR PREDICTION

This is a nice spot to grab the underdog. Odorizzi will make his Twins debut and while this is a bad spot for a fly-ball pitcher with reverse-splits, I see Minnesota’s offense backing up its new ace this afternoon. Bundy also has a high fly-ball rate and allows plenty of home runs, which is a bad recipe versus a Twins offense that boasts plenty of power. The Orioles are 2-5 in Bundy’s last seven starts against the American League Central and 1-5 in his last six outings when he pitches the first game of a series.
