The pitching matchup tonight has Matt Garza (5-5, 3.68 ERA) on the mound for Milwaukee to face Adalberto Mejia (4-5, 4.30) of the Twins. Garza has been on a nice run lately, allowing just four earned runs total over his last four starts. He has 60 strikeouts this season with 27 walks and a 1.25 WHIP. Mejia is coming off a 4-run, 4-inning outing against the Rangers last week. He has allowed multiple runs in five of his last six starts. Mejia has 71 strikeouts this season with 39 walks and a 1.53 WHIP.

Minnesota opened this series on Monday with a 5-4 win at home. The Twins are now 54-56 overall and 26-33 at home this year while the Brewers are 59-55 overall and 28-28 on the road.

Mondayโ€™s game saw the Brewers let a 4-1 lead get away from them. Oliver Drake allowed a pair of runs in his relief appearance to lead the to the loss. Ervin Santana gave up just two earned runs in six innings for the Twins, but didnโ€™t factor in the decision. Jorge Polanco had four hits and two RBI to lead the Twins in the win. Keon Broxton had a home run and a pair of RBI for the Brewers.

Bet on Brewers vs. Twins

Minnesota had a nice rally on Monday night to get the win, but I am not sure they will be able to rally again today. I see the Twins falling behind once again, as Garza has been allowing few runs and should be able to handle this lineup. Mejia hasnโ€™t been bad, but has been giving up runs more consistently. The Twins arenโ€™t going to be able to dig themselves out of the hole today, as I see Garza getting deep into this game.
