KEY INJURIES
The Jays continue to have Troy Tulowitzki on the injury report as he is out until late May due to bone spurs in his heels. Aledmys Diaz is questionable to play today after suffering back spasms on Tuesday. Chicago has no new injuries to report.
BETTING STRATEGIES
Toronto has won the first two games in this series, picking up a 4-2 victory on Monday and a 14-5 win on Tuesday. The Jays racked up 15 hits in last night’s win, scoring seven runs in the eighth to really blow the game open. Diaz had three hits with a home run and three RBI before leaving the game. Josh Donaldson had two hits, including a home run, while driving in three.
J.A. Happ earned the win for Toronto despite allowing four runs over 5.1 innings. He had nine strikeouts while giving up seven hits. Miguel Gonzalez took the loss after allowing six runs over five innings on eight hits. Tim Anderson and Avisail Garcia each had three hits to lead Chicago at the plate.
I have picked Chicago the last two days and the White Sox have disappointed, failing to hit one game and failing to pitch the other. Fulmer doesn’t have much experience, so I don’t see his first start in Toronto going well, especially with Toronto’s bats starting to get hot.
