OUR PREDICTION
Neither of these pitchers allowed a run in their respective season openers but I’m backing Hernandez, who has a great record against the Giants. Granted, all of his four starts have come at home, but King Felix is 4-0 versus the Giants in his career and owns a 1.86 ERA. Seattle is also 11-4 in its last 15 games versus San Francisco, which includes yesterday’s game. Furthermore, the Mariners are 4-0 in Hernandez’s last four road starts, are 5-1 in his last six outings overall, and are 20-6 in his last 26 road starts when facing a team with a losing record. After winning their first two games in L.A. 1-0, the Giants have dropped three straight. Make it four straight tonight.
TUESDAY MLB PREDICTION: SEATTLE MARINERS +114
