From Rotoworld: Gray will start the first game of the second half for the Rockies on Friday in New York versus the Mets. Gray has been limited to five starts this season due to injury, so he’ll be ready to take on a big workload in the second half. He’ll be followed by Tyler Chatwood and Jeff Hoffman, with Antonio Senzatela going fifth in the order. The No. 4 spot will go to either Kyle Freeland or German Marquez.
deGrom will start the Mets’ first game of the second half on Friday at home against the Rockies. Manager Terry Collins wouldn’t reveal the rest of the order of his post-break rotation other than saying Steven Matz would likely start Sunday. DeGrom posted a 3.65 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 130/38 K/BB over 111 first-half innings.
