Will the Diamondbacks win their series against their NL West rivals the Rockies at 4:10PM ET today?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Diamondbacks are -139 money line favorites versus the Rockies, who have odds of +128 to pull off the upset. With German Marquez set to face Taijuan Walker in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs.

From Rotoworld: Marquez surrendered five runs on seven hits over four innings in Monday’s loss to the Giants. Marquez managed a mere two strikeouts while walking two in the contest. The Giants plated a run in the first inning on a Buster Posey double, then two more in the second inning and two more in the fourth before Marquez took a seat on the bench. It was a disappointing outing, particularly given that the 22-year-old right-hander had surrendered just four runs combined in his previous three starts. He will bring a 4.38 ERA and 1.41 WHIP into a road showdown with the Diamondbacks next time he takes to the mound.
Walker yielded five runs — three earned — in 6 1/3 innings Tuesday against the Cardinals. It was two-run in six innings until bad luck and worse defense led to three runs in the seventh. Walker ended up with no strikeouts and five walks tonight, though two of those walks were intentional. It was an odd showing for a guy who, throughout his career, hasn’t been as good as his K/BB ratios. Walker wasn’t involved in the decision tonight, so he’s 6-3 with a 3.50 ERA.

OUR PREDICTION: The Rockies have lost seven of their last eight on the road, are just 1-9 in their last 10 games overall, and have lost six straight against an opponent that starts a right-hander. On the other side, the D-Backs have won four of Walker’s last five home starts, are 4-0 in his last four starts overall, and have won 17 of their last 23 overall. Arizona should close out its series versus Colorado with a victory today.
